Paridhi Sharma out..Aparna Dixit roped in to play a cameo in 'Meri Aashiqui Tumhi Se Hai'

We reported earlier that Ekta Kapoor was keen to rope Paridhi Sharma, who is currently seen in Balaji telefilm’s show Jodha Akbar to play a parallel lead in Balaji Telefilms' next show on Colors.

Now we heard, Paridhi was actually approached for a cameo role in the show. But owing to Paridhi’s date issues Aparna Dixit is shortlisted to play the cameo in ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumhi Se Hai’.

Aparna, who is currently seen as Mansi in Ekta’s show Pavitra Rishta will be seen in the initial 5-6 episodes probably as Shakti Arora’s cousin.

Also, veteran actor Muni Jha is roped to play Gauri Pradhan’s husband. In the show, Gauri’s husband left her at young age, later she got married to Muni Jha.  For those uninitiated, Gauri and Muni were last seen together in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

The show is set in Gujarati backdrop and is expected to launch by the end of June.
